Watering System Dilution Note: Vanodine can be added to the water in watering systems for reducing the number of harmful bacteria in the water. At the drinking dilution used it would be effective against some - but not all - microorganisms. Watering systems still need to be regularly cleaned and disinfected to prevent disease transmission from one cage to the next. Organic matter (dirt) can render it ineffective at low concentrations, so do not rely on the small amount floating round the system to keep it completely clear of infection.
